:Womb Honouring Ceremony::
An offering to share Sacred Rituals to honour the Bones, Spirit, Womb, Heart and all types of Birth experienced.
A ceremony that makes space for all of your transitions, new beginnings and closures. This ceremony celebrates all the phases and initiations of womanhood.
During pregnancy our Pelvis makes space for birth to take place, getting wider and stretching the muscles and bones out of alignment. After the process of birth it is important that they are gently guided back into place, so the Pelvis can be at it’s optimal position and provide great stability and vitality for the person’s life moving forward. Our Womb and Pelvic region are known to be spaces of the body where unresolved emotions and trauma are held which can cause the inner rivers of energy to block and stagnate. Closing of the Bones can help the bones, body and nervous system to release these unresolved emotions that are trapped in the body allowing positive internal shifts and deep healing to activate. This ritual creates a-lot of space for the Women, Mother or Mother to Be to process emotions and sensations that are present in the body and call all the parts of their mind body spirit, home into the heart.
This ceremony is really nourishing and important for healing after any type of loss or any type of birth. Whether that is of a family member or the loss of a baby through abortion or miscarriage and beneficial during sub fertility or difficulties conceiving. It provides a sacred gateway for calling back all the parts of the self that have felt lost or neglected and can serve space to process any traumatic past or current experience.
If you are a new born mother this ceremony will tend to your heart, womb & feminine spirit. During the ceremony the Closing of the Bones will be included, (also known as Postpartum Sealing) a Sacred Ritual to honour the Mother, the Woman, Body, Bones and the Spirit after experiencing any type of Birth, Death, Loss, Abortion or Pregnancy loss. You will be held, and welcomed wherever you are at and we shall curate a safe container for this sacred rite of passage.

“In Mayan Culture it is said that during labor the Mother’s spirit is traveling in the universe to find and collect her baby’s soul and then birth together. It is said that during the bone closing ceremony the spirit is called back to the body and the ritual encourages a new parent to close energetically. Birth is a rite of passage and a deep transformational journey and it continues into motherhood and parenthood.”

Closing of the Bones Ritual Origin
The closing the bones treatment involves the use of a traditional shawl called a “Manta” or a “Rebozo”, to rock and articulate the mother's hips, followed by a complex abdominal and pelvic girdle massage using a warming oil, and then finished by tightly wrapping the cloth around the woman's hips. The Bone closing Ceremony has been cross culturally practiced for hundreds of years, maybe thousands of years as a curated healing process to make space for the New Born Mother, Mother to be or Women during any stage of their life with the purpose of closing cycles, energetic fields and returning heat back to the body. Latin American, African and Asian countries practice similar ceremonies still widely.

Testimonials
" I did the closing of the bones ceremony with Sophia and I would like to share about how beautifully she did hold space for me ❤ First thing I want to mention is how much generosity there was in her sharing, from the great knowledge she offers to us through an abundance of beautiful rituals to all the little details and attentions that she has to make you feel hold and cared in such a beautiful way. So much softness. So much tenderness. So much love. I felt completely safe to go in a very deep rest state allowing myself to release a big amount of shame and sorrow, all in a very soft way, very easy, very beautifully. Since we did this ceremony I got 2 times exposed to what used to make me cry so much or feel bad instantly when the abortion topic was appearing and this time I felt in a full acceptance and resilience state ! What an amazing surprise !! ❤ Couldn’t believe that what used to be so so heavy finally shifted to beauty ❤ IT WORKED. When I got my abortion I felt so much lost not finding any wise support around to start a healing process of that experience. Literally not finding anything neither in all the spiritual people around me neither on internet. Sophia I’m eternally thankful for your beautiful support in this very difficult journey. For your braveness to deal with this very sacred knowledge. We need more people like you. Sending you big amount of love with tears of gratitude ❤”

“ I was fortunate enough to meet Sophia this year , a beautiful gentle soul and have a womb wrapping session/ Closing the Bones Ceremony.
I gave birth to my babies many moons ago and never received this during my postpartum period. Unless you had family who passed on these traditions there wasn’t anything like this when I gave birth. So when I heard of what Sophia was doing, such a new experience I had never heard of before, something in me knew it was really special and something I wanted to experience.
She created a really beautiful space inside my home, usually a place that makes me feel quite stressed out, she managed to create such a peaceful setting which made me feel really comfortable. She then made us a delicious cacao drink and I was able to share how I was feeling and set an intention of how I am desiring to feel more often. When the ceremony begun, although it took me a few minutes to relax initially I soon immersed myself in the healing and ceremony process and felt her warmth and care energise my body from head to toes. I felt the support and it gave me a great sense of belonging and security when I was wrapped up in the cloths- almost like I was in the womb again…
I felt so much was being poured into me and allowing myself to surrender , to be seen and receive . In the few hours of treatment I know I felt deeply relaxed for the first time in ages, I felt replenished and as if my body had been revived and alive after years of it not really feeling like that. And since then I have felt so much more myself, a weight lifted and newness all around me. Thank you Sophia I am really grateful for what you share , you really made me feel that being a woman is so sacred and how the power of being revered as women has a deeply felt affect on the heart and my psyche. It’s deeply impacted my life from here on and every woman deserves to be held in this way by their village because in turn it taught me how I need to hold and love myself better.”
